Before fabrication, please review the following guidelines
- Always use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Safety goggles
- Protective Apron
- Dust masks or respirators
- Hearing protection
- Cut-resistant gloves
- Wet cutting only
- Always follow manufacturer recommendations for adhesives, sealants, and setting materials
- Store materials in a dry, flat, and stable environment, away from direct sunlight or extreme weather.
Do Not
- Dry cutting
- Transport slabs without A-frame support and edge protection
Zero Silica Collection – Fabrication Guidelines
Our Zero Silica Collection features advanced engineered stone that contains no crystalline silica, offering a safer alternative to traditional quartz.
Cutting & Shaping
- Use diamond-tipped tools designed for engineered stone.
- CNC or bridge saws with water-cooled blades are recommended.
- Maintain a slow, consistent feed rate to prevent chipping.
Edge Finishing
- Radius edges recommended to reduce stress cracking.
Drilling & Cutouts
- Use diamond core bits with water feed.
- Avoid sharp internal corners — use radius corners in sink and cooktop cutouts to reduce cracking risk.
- Reinforcement may be required for large spans or around appliances.
Adhesives
- Use two-part epoxy or polyurethane-based adhesives for seams and joins.
